Richard from the Freq-zine and "Drones-Head" made a wonderful Split-CDR with 3 tracks by us and 6 by Edward Ka-Spel, given away to the first 50 participants at Bardens Boudoir. I don´t have copies to sell, please don´t ask. You´ll find informations on our discography-page 2003-2005.

My pal Martin, singer and guitarist of S/T will release his first solo album named "Under The Moniker Of Allen Smithee" in May. See above the wonderful artwork (with parts of wood) and the CD. It´s a full length CDR and will be limited to 50 copies. Pre orders welcome, but we´re also working on our next CD(R) called "pssst", which will be also out in May.
January 29th 2005
Another month ... another planet.
We´re proud to confirm, that our next gig is fixed and we have the chance to play as opening act for one of our all-time-faves:
Edward Ka-Spel from the Legendary Pink Dots.
Cause our big happening back on January 8th, we´re going straight to London again in March.

Here some collected word about the last show, Andy Wilson of the Faust-Pages mailed around:
"The s/t gig was way beyond amazing... everyone was completely wrapped in the tsunami of sound coming from the stage"
Tom Berger, faust-list
"They could have gone on forever, I don't think anybody would have left if they had never stopped."
Ian Land, faust-list
"I've only just returned to planet earth"
John, faust-list
"Probably one of the two or three best gigs i ever saw"
Me, Myself, I (Andy, Wilson, faust-list mastermind)
"My wildest dreams for the success of the night were exceeded several times over"
Richard, FREQ & faust-list
January 10th 2005
Well, back from London, we played on Saturday. This mail arrived from a guy in the crowd. Address for this was Andy Wilsons Faust Mailing list:
... glad you asked! indeed, the s/t gig was way beyond amazing, and the
effect could best be measured not on us, die-hard groupies, but on
random drones club visitors, who one by on e were freaking out,
eventually refusing to let the poor s/t guys get off stage.
there was a constant buzz of electricity in the air - initially i
thought that this is a side effect of the low-tech electronic
extravaganza that is s/t's setup, but as we moved from first to second
to third song, it became clearer and clearer that something very
special is happening
listening to s/t, especially live, is something that takes some
getting used to. they have a slightly different music/sound language,
and it's easy to miss the fine details if one doesn't get carried away
by the music - but the guys were so charged with explosive energies,
and the crowd was so cooperative (and at times even interactive), that
it didn't take long before everyone was completely wrapped in the
tsunami of sound coming from the stage.
for those who missed it, i really hope we'll manage to get to hear and
see the results of sophie's heroic documentation efforts (at one
point, i swear, i could see her shooting the stage with two video
cameras while rolling a joint - all at the same time!)
s/t did all their greatest hits, and all the covers we like - their
'silver machine' cover, if you still haven't heard it, really does
justice to the song, and the final 'yoo doo right' made everyone so
happy. especially impressive, imho, were 'die dunkle seite des
mondes', and 'das alpha tier', but the list is long, and the show
really didn't have one dead or boring moment.
thank you martin and joachim so much for all the hard work - i know
that you were a bit nervous before coming here - you were the real
winners - concurred the tough and cynical london crowd with style. i'm
sure this is the first of many successful gigs in the uk.
thank you andy for making this happen - from the smile no your face
during the gig i can see that it was worth it.
thank you richard and the drones club - i could not possibly think of
a more appropriate, more inviting, settings for this gig (and i'm
waiting to hear about the future plans for the drones). tom (berger)
November 11th 2004
Unbelievable, but our last quarterly offer for 2004 is close to finish. A hard work for the cover, which is a ceramic tile artwork. Don´t ask about the weight of it. It´s beautiful, but the postage costs will eat each fun. haha.
For the guys who asked for live gigs.
Nothing up to December 31st, but

Planned gigs:
January 8th: London, The Eye (Drones Club) North London
January 15th: Seulberg, Germany, At Horstmanns´ (one of our loved living room gigs)
January 22th: Frankfurt, Germany, Dreikönigskeller (canceled !!!!)
October 31st 2004
All gigs for this year are cancelled! Reason: We need a creative break for some month. Also we´re working on a new longplay with really quiet, dreamy tracks. Out somewhen in spring. Also the latest quarterly (schedule date October 1st) will be out not before November .
SCHEER (FAUST STUDIO) OPENING FESTIVAL 20-22
AUG
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the last year volunteers have been helping Faust build their
extraordinary new studio at Scheer, Southern Germany. Now the work is
done, and the time has come to lie back and enjoy the results. To
celebrate the opening and burn it forever into the centre of your brain
there will be a festival at Scheer / Donau on 20th-22nd August. The
lineup for
the festival isn't finalised (standby for suprising announcements in
weeks to come) but will include;
...
Circle
Joachim Irmler (Faust)
S/T
Ole Lukkoye
Nista Nista Nista
Audiac
Lars Palkstat (Faust) & Käptn Howdy
Michael Stoll (Faust) & Guests
Adriano Lanzi & Omar Sodano
Coleslaw
...
Admission to the festival itself is free. Camping Facilities are
available on site, and there's B&B accomodation available in the local
village. I looked at flights from the UK to Friedrichshafen (nearest
airport) and found some as cheap as £5. All Faust fans should be
thinking of coming along and meeting up with like-minded space cadets.
Food will be available at a minimal cost throughout (free to those that
worked at Scheer, i believe.)
Anyone who helped at Scheer during the building work will know what a
magical place it is and how much fun we had there; anyone who saw S/T
play during the work will not want to miss the chance to see this
awesome group make one of their rare live performances. Now's the chance
too for all the fine people that have made the Faust list such a
pleasant place to be to get together.
Please feel free to announce this news as you see fit, add it to
diaries, coerce fellow travellers into life...

His homepage: www.faust-pages.com
Thanks to all visiting our latest gig, a couple of days ago. Sure, it was one of our best gigs ever, even when the mixing guy sucks! It´s always the same, when guys didn´t take their job serious. Also the best to NOVA DRIVE, splitting this evening with us. If you´re interested in some photos by Gerd Bächler (also known as axe-man from the Frankfurt band CROWDPLEASER) feel free to cklick here

April 1st
New quarterly item is out today.
March 12th
Official released date of our new CD.
February 1st, 2004
Today, the first of our 4 quarterly offers got ready. Don´t wait too long cause it´s 1.) limited and 2.) only available up to March 31st 2004. As our first limited editions back in the mid-90Ts, we´re sure that all those will become collector´s items and hard to get in the future. For example: Try to get the "Kilon Bauno" or "Q." box sets today ?! They also weren´t expensive when they came out.
January 1st, 2004
Happy new year to all. Feel free to real the news abou our quarterly offers instead of our monthly offers during 2003.
December 14th, 2003
Some people asked about the not-available mp3-track for December. Reason is a technical problem, which isn´t anymore. Up from today, the December track is available for download. Also here the picture of Ralf Beyerle´s short movie, we do some music for.

November 1st, 2003
Yep! New track for November is online. A wonderful coverversion by Julian Cope we recorded in one take at out rehearsal studio. Also we´re proud to tell you, that fragments of 4 S/T tracks are part of Ralf Beyerle´s short movie "Alles wie immer", other 2 tracks are by Daniel Johnston. More next.
September 19th, 2003
A new page is opened. For our "S/T -> Dürmentingen" PROMO-Double-CD I started the site for different sleeve. Sounds obscure ... ? Not really! Feel free to get your informations here . Thanks to Andy Wilson for big support and don´t forget to check out the Faust pages here.
September 12th, 2003
Just released a double-CDR as give away to some helpful guys. See>>discography page. Please don´t ask for copies, cause the edition was 10 copies only. If you´ll find somebody who got one, ask him for a duplicate, cause it´s free to burn. We only wanna have 2 copies of a new sleeve.
August 26th, 2003
Instead of own words, here the NEWS-mail by Andy Wilson, manager of the FAUST-PAGES, London, England:
I just returned yesterday from the studio
building at Scheer. I had a
*great* time, certainly it was more than worth being there for all sorts
of reasons. I'll send a few mails over the following days with
impressions and news about plans, forthcoming releses, etc.
one of the many highlights of the week was on sunday when, after eating
our evening meal and being sat, drinking and smoking, on the veranda
after sunset, two of the guys working at the site played a private gig
in the moonlight. they turned out to be the group S/T. I've a track by
them on the Klangbad 'First Steps' compilation but hadn't paid it much
attention and didn't know what to expect. They are two guys, martin on
guitar, tapes, fx and joachim on keyboard, tapes, loops, etc. Most of
their stuff seems to be released on their own label (SoS / Save Our
Sperms). god knows how you describe their style but it's somewhere
between complete psyche / krautrock, industrial noise and full-on punk
aggression. in the music i heard groups like hawkwind, big black, amon
duul, soft machine, wire and, of course, faust. the set included
versions of Wooly Bully (yes, complete with cow mooing samples), Fausts'
Apokalypse and an extract from the Faust Tapes (Flashback Caruso). also,
especially dedicated to the Brits at the camp, Silver Machine ;)
i thought my head had got cross-wired and I was hearing all my favourite
records at the same time: the 'beats' re electro-industial loops, the
samples are layed on thick, making fat waves of sustained sound, howling
feedback. the guitar moves between garge-punk riffing and then hard,
angular bursts of noise - that's when it isn't played with a sort of
hendrix lyricism. me, I thought they were the best 'new' (to-me) group
I've heard for years. by the end of the night I was in shock - you don't
expect a couple of ordinary looking guys you are working with to be able
to get up blow your head off like that.
anyway, since most of their stuff is only available in short runs I made
sure I went to their web site (http://www.get-happy-records.com/ST.htm)
and ordered a few records before writing this mail in case you guys got
there first =:-) I already got myself a copy of their 'Difficult Second
Album' CD and also 'Space Fidelity', which has only two tracks, both
over 25 minutes, both of which were highlights of the gig ('the moon has
left its orbit' and 'the story of long distance flight or crash') even
though they were only played for a measly 15 minutes each there.
other good news: the guys are graphic designers and their records even
look great too. also, we had a video camera with us and shot most of the
gig - I saw it again last night and i'll be watching it a lot in future
i think. best news of all, they are currently recording with jochen for
klangbad. I can't wait to hear *that* stuff (later this year?) (March
2004, Joachim)
anyway, I had a great time and S/T got themselves a fanatic fan who'll
be collecting everything they've done. I really hope you all get to see
them play sometime, it's one of those gigs you never forget.
ps. a big HEY! to dan rodenburg from this list, who was at the camp at
the same time. *great* to meet you dan.
pps. next mail - how I ended up alone in the faust studio listening to
jochen's new solo album through the system it was mixed on, floating
through my own mind and occasionally falling over the edges. whoops.

Important news today! First is the birth of our new baby. Here it is!

"Space Fidelity", our latest CD is out now. 2 longs tracks, both about 25 minutes. We wrote the tracks mid of the nineties and played`em live, but they were never released before. One track (The Story Of A Long Distance Flight Or Crash) was recorded in a 4 minute version in 1994 and was planned as one side of a single. But after listening to the test pressings we stopped the release. A handful copies are around in a PROMO sleeve, but I think I know each of the owners private (haha).
"Space Fidelity" is out most psych-out release since today. No "Pop"-tunes, but lots of spherical noises and melodies. To order the CD and find out what still availablie, click here.
Second thing is: We´re leaving Frankfurt for a week to visit Faust south of Germany to help working for their new studio. That´s great, cause we hope to meet some nice guys out of the music scene. If some interesting strange things will happen, I´ll inform you.
Have some nice last days of summer!
August 1st, 2003
New monthly download online. "Space Fidelity" went to the pressing plant yesterday. Yep! More informations soon.
July 6th, 2003
Gig for July 12th is cancelled ...sorry. But we´ll do it later!
July 1st, 2003
Pling Pling! New mp3-file called "Backwards" is online up from today. Don´t forget to order your cover!
June 22nd, 2003
Good news: Next gig is on 12th of July 2003, Frankfurt, Excess Cafe, Leipziger Strasse together with Van Helsings from Mönchengladbach feat. EA 80 member. Hope to see you.
June 1st, 2003
Yeah, new tracks(s) for free download are online. 2 songs, planned for a 1994 single, but previously unreleased, cause we stopped the pressing process after the testpressing. The quality was too bad and so this tracks never reached our fans. One of the tracks will be part of our forthcoming CD but in an extended 16-minute version.
May11th, 2003
Well,
new CDR out since this weekend. S/T is really proud to offer the best Live recording we ever made. Recorded at a privat gig March 29th, 2003. Beautiful Cover-Artwork and mostly unreleased tracks. Released for fans only in an edition of 40 (!) copies. So sold out soon.
May 1st, 2003
Dadubida!
Our brand new download for May is online! Also 2 new parts of the S/T empire are ready for check-out. There´s now a list with the catalogue numbers of SAVE OUR SPERMS RECORDS, S/T´s own label available online here, also, cause lots of guys asked me about still available recordings, I made a page with stuff to buy, here.
April 21st, 2003
Hurrah!
The master for the forthcoming CDR called "Hi" is now finished. 5 brilliant, never released tracks back from 1994. First fifty copies are in a wonderful "arty" sleeve, a 7"-formated box with plastic grass etc. 100 later copies will have also a nice 7"-format cover, really psychedelic transparent paper. All guys interested in the hard limited sleeve, contact me. But attention. Release date is end of May. Pre orders under: vinyljunkie@buissnet.com
April 1st, 2003
Yahooh !!
One night work and the helping hands of our friend Bartosz let us update the monthly download page. Tonight 2 songs are ready for download. The March one, we owed you and the actually one for April. Hope you´ll enjoy them. Both are unreleased and out of our homestudio in Frankfurt, recorded in the late Nineties. You´ll find the downlads (gone!...not online anymore)
March 27th, 2003
Hollah!
Most of you found the S/T homepage off-line during late February til today. Reason was a kinda "crisis" between the S/T members. Sounds bad ... was bad. But, as in each partnership, if you´re really interested in your doing, you´ll find together again. Hopefully it was a good "event" to clear the situations after 10 years of working. We´re now together and it seems that we´ve more power than before. Next gig (a private one) on Saturday 29th to let out local fans know that we´re o.k.
One sad aspect of this situation was, that our "monthly download" for March didn´t work. But we feel, that we owe you this track and will be online in April with 2 downloads during next month.
News from today: The swiss magazine UMO wrote an article about us (I didn´t read til now), but some guys contacted me, so it seems to be a good one. Check out their page: www.blackflame.ch
February 1st, 2003
Hey Ho!
Our new free exclusive download is online. We found this track on a tape we made in 2002 and Bartosz (thanks!) prepared it for this special offer. Click (gone ...sorry time over) for the "monthly download" page. Also we´re working for the final mix of the "Space Fidelity" CD which will be (hopefully) out soon.
January 6th, 2003
Yeps!
Me just coming back from the Faust studio, while Martin has to stay. Wonderful time recording. It´s absolutely a festival to stay together with Mr.Irmler of Faust and Cornelia of Klangbad for some days. Keyboard parts of the "next big thing" called "Würfelmusik" (the album on Klangbad) are mostly complete. Martin has to work for some guitar tracks and (of course) his wonderful voice. Record will not be released before autumn 2003. But we´re still working to fill the time with 2 other released, see 01.01.2003.
Also you can buy now the fantastic Klangbad compilation "First Steps" (containing 1 unreleased track by S/T) and fantastic tracks by CIRCLE, OLE LUKKOYE, FAUST etc. on my regular homepage. Click here. Also please don´t miss other great stuff you can find on this page. The new CDs by CIRCLE or OLE LUKKOYE are brilliant, also the australian band KANGAROO MOON and the FAUST remix album "Freispiel" are worth every coin.
January 1st, 2003
Well, brand new year.
Not much happens or will happen these first days. The "Monthly Jukebox" is opened, click here (no longer online!).
From January 1st to January 6th, we´re proud to record our next "big thing" at Faust´s studio, south of Germany. This album will be released on Faust´s label Klangbad Records soon.
